What Is a Deep Clean?
A deep clean is a comprehensive, top-to-bottom reset of a home or apartment. Unlike a standard maintenance clean that covers everyday surfaces, a deep clean goes further — inside the fridge, inside the oven, inside every cupboard and wardrobe, window tracks, bathroom grout, behind and under furniture, AC filters, and ceiling fans. It typically takes 2–3 times longer than a regular clean.

The biggest factor. More bedrooms, more bathrooms, and larger living spaces all add time and labour. A studio apartment in Osu and a 4-bedroom house in East Legon are fundamentally different jobs.
2. Current Condition
A property that has been regularly cleaned and is just due for a periodic deep reset takes significantly less time than one that hasn't been professionally cleaned in 12+ months, or one with heavy grease buildup in the kitchen or mold in multiple bathrooms.
3. Harmattan Season Timing
Properties cleaned during or immediately after harmattan season (November–March) typically take longer because fine Sahara dust penetrates everywhere — inside AC units, in window tracks, on ceiling fan blades, and deep into tile grout. Expect the higher end of the price range for post-harmattan deep cleans.
4. Add-Ons
Carpet steam cleaning, sofa cleaning, mattress cleaning, and window exterior cleaning are typically priced separately and added to the base deep clean price.
